Caleb Madden works across an indeterminate range of media and context to explore and experiment with the affective potentials of art within the process of social change. He has presented work in the UK and internationally. He is a lecturer in Fine Art and Sonic Arts at Brighton University, holds an MA in Fine Art, and has recently completed a PhD on the political agency of noise-art practices. A founder member of the sonic arts collective The Spirit of Gravity, he produces a regular radio show for Resonance Extra. He is the originator of UK experimental music organisation Outlands Network, where he works as a curator/creative producer for a number of original interdisciplinary art commissions.
